Almost halfway through the year, this is nuts!
Remember how I was in such a funk at the end of last weekend?!
Well, it sort of carried over into the first half of the week. I don’t know what it was (aside from, well, the universe right now!), but it was rough.
My work days ended in disaster! I couldn’t get it together or anything. It was so weird.
I was basically like here Eddie, eat these eggs and leftovers for dinner! Whomp whomp.
Thankfully by Wednesday, it started to dissipate. I swear that going to the greenhouse helped. I decided to get a few herbs and flowers to plant. It was later than I usually start, but considering we had snow last weekend, I didn’t really have a choice.
This makes me so happy!
I read Rachel’s book and it’s SO good for a time like right now. Loved it.
These babies!
She’s my style icon.
Max picks me flowers everywhere we go! Except now he is picking planted flowers…. oops.
We finally went to grandma’s house!
This color, omg.
So we will probably just play with the hose all summer since we can’t do much else?!
Eddie brought home pizza from Dianoias.
The weekend ended up being SO nice that we were outside for most of it.
The baby birds from last week hatched! I mean, Max said they are not the cutest, but… nature.
We got ice cream and ate it in the back of the car.
PB chocolate for life.
Before I planted the herbs, I cut this – it had already started coming up from last year.
Planted some pots for our back patio.
And got the herbs in! I did basil, thai basil, parsley, rosemary, lime thyme, lemon thyme, lavender, mint, chamomile, dill, sage and oregano. And kept the chives in of course.
Plus a few pots for the front too.
And we’re swinging into next week like… YAY.
