Hello from my little self-quarantined corner of the world!
Are you planning any house or baking projects this weekend while you’re at home? Our office is still a massive area of clutter and disorganization for me, so I’d like to try to make some headway a little each day. Today seems like a good day to start!
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!
On Brown Eyed Baker This Week

Friday Things #363 – Talking all things self-quarantine, of course! Talking through how we’ve been keeping busy at home…

Sunday Dinner Menu
Obviously no Sunday dinner this week! Not sure yet what I’m making for us; I did a big batch of meat sauce last week and have leftover in the freezer, so I may use some of that. I also have everything I need for my favorite chili, so that might happen at some point over the weekend, too.
What I Bookmarked This Week
30-minute caramelized shallot beef ramen noodles sound AMAZING right now.
I’ve never had Chinese garlic chicken but I want to make it ASAP.
Sounds fantastic if you have some pork chops in your freezer >> Honey Garlic Baked Pork Chops
I actually have a package of spaghetti squash from Costco, so may try to recreate this >> Cheesy Chicken and Broccoli Stuffed Spaghetti Squash
OMG YES! >> Buster Bar Ice Cream Dessert
Have a delicious weekend!
